Judith Mccullough

Judith has practised as a specialist criminal barrister for more than twenty years. She defends and prosecutes and has wide experience of all aspects of criminal and regulatory law.

She has acted as both independent counsel and in-house advocate and undertakes consultancy work for two large firms of solicitors in London and the South West.

Judith is regularly instructed in serious criminal cases but also undertakes all levels of criminal litigation.

Notable Cases

Operation Retriever ‐ represented the ringleader of a gang of men who was alleged to have groomed and sexually abused vulnerable young girls.

Operation Rockferry ‐ represented one of the organisers of a national paedophile ring.

R v H-F ‐ represented a man alleged to have transferred a firearm at the start of the national riots in 2011.

R v M ‐ represented the mastermind of a large-scale and sophisticated fraud involving substantial sums of money.

R v W ‐ represented a defendant charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Oxfordshire Trading Standards v H ‐ represented a builder charged under new regulations with aggressive and unfair commercial practices.

R v J ‐ prosecuted a youth who had murdered his carer.
