Kirsty became a tenant with us following her pupillage under Louise Harvey.
Her practice is particularly focussed on public and private children law work. She also undertakes financial remedy proceedings.
Her  meticulous approach to diligently prepare and present her clients case has led to many favourable outcomes for her clients, particularly upon pursuing findings sought in finding of fact hearings.
Kirsty accepts instructions in both private and public Children Act and Family Law Act cases and regularly acts for parents and local authorities. She is particularly known for her ability to explain complex legal principles and processes in simplistic terms placing her clients at ease.
She was the first in her family to attend University where she achieved a first class with honours LLB Law . She later went on to study the BPTC at BPP Manchester and was awarded the Lincolns Inn Lord Denning Scholarship and the Middle Temple Jeremy McMullen Access to the Bar Award.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Kirsty was a lecturer in law to undergraduate students. She was quickly promoted to a programme leader position where she undertook responsibility of developing and managing the undergraduate law programmes. Kirsty taught the subject areas of Equity and Trusts, Criminal Law and Land Law and coached the mooting team to a victory place representing the United Kingdom in the commonwealth Legal Education Association Competition.
Outside of Chambers Kirsty enjoys spending time with her family and long walks with her dogs.
