Lucy became a tenant following her pupillage with us in September 2020

During her first-six, she gained experience in both public and private Children Act proceedings, observing all manner of hearings from interim applications to finding of fact and final hearings.

She currently accepts instructions in Family Law Act applications and regularly acts on behalf of local authorities and parents in public and private Children Act proceedings.

Prior to commencing pupillage Lucy was employed by a law firm as a paralegal, specialising in family law. She dealt with all aspects of private children and Family Law Act proceedings from their inception, preparing witness statements and applications for both ex-parte and on notice hearings. Lucy subsequently worked as a County Court Advocate, acting in a wide range of civil matters including interim applications and small claims trials.

Aside from work, Lucy has undertaken an extensive amount of volunteering. She has assisted local sixth forms in preparing for the National Bar Mock Trial and delivered youth leadership workshops.
