I have been established as a family law barrister at Winckley Square Chambers, Preston since 1992.

I am experienced in all aspects of private family law including children issues and financial disputes involving both married and unmarried couples. In the case of financial disputes I have represented clients in both modest assets cases and cases involving substantial assets, foreign properties and various types of businesses.

In addition to my family work I have a longstanding specialist practice in personal injury litigation mainly relating to the consequences of serious motorcycle accidents.

The two aspects of my work may seem dissimilar from a lay perspective but in practice they are complimentary as there is a considerable overlap in the required knowledge and skills. Both areas require a full understanding of the financial consequences of life events, including the effects on future income streams, future financial needs and pensions.

I have approval from the Bar Council to undertake direct public access work. Details of my work as a direct access barrister is available on my web site at your-barrister.co.uk

The content of my website reflects my own views rather than those of Chambers as a whole.
