Urgent Notice Re: Coronavirus - COVID-19
15 Winckley Square Chambers intends to continue to provide our clients with our services whilst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues
We have already taken action to ensure we provide our clients with the best possible service under the most difficult circumstances for all concerned.
There is no interruption to the administrative running and clerking of Chambers.
Our staff will be continuing to work remotely from their homes with secure devices and telephones specifically programmed to operate as if still in our property. When you call Chambers you will still get through to the clerks who will continue to conduct their duties at the present time. There are no changes to our telephone contact numbers or email addresses.
All members of chambers and staff have been provided with guidance from the Government, National Health Service and our respective regulatory bodies.
Chambers building is not now open to non-members of chambers for the purposes of following guidance.
Members will be able to use our building for the purposes of telephone and video-link hearings only.
In terms of business continuity and safe practice we actively encourage all our clients to provide us with instructions in an electronic format.
We also ask that any payments of fees to be made electronically via a BACS transfer. Details for payment can be provided by our fees team.
We will not be able to accept hard-copy documents in Chambers for the foreseeable future.
